Traffic Diversions in the Dublin Area

Dublin City Marathon Pre/Post Race Diversions

Friday 1900hrs 27th-28th -30th until 18:00 October 2017,

Due to road closures on Merrion Square North, to facilitate the Marathon, the following diversions will apply.

Route 2 Wexford; From Busaras, operate via Burgh Quay, D’Olier St, Nassau St, Kildare St, (Pick up point) Lesson St.

To Dublin/DAP; operate via Lesson St, Dawson St, Westland Row.

100X /Dublin/Dundalk until 18:00 Monday 30th Oct.

All arrivals/departures will OPERATE TO Georges Quay and from Customs House Quay. 

NX until 18:00 Monday 30th Oct.
All arrivals/departures will OPERATE TO Beresford Place

Sunday 29th October Marathon Day

The following traffic diversions will apply

South Quays 08:30-10:30.

Routes;4, X8,X12, 20, 22,23,115,120,126,

To/From Dublin
All the above services should operate via the Port Tunnel onto the M50 southbound before proceeding back onto the normal route

100X /Dublin/Dundalk until 18:00 Monday 30th Oct.

All arrivals/departures will OPERATE TO Georges Quay and from Customs House Quay. 

NX until 18:00 Monday 30 Oct.

All arrivals/departures will OPERATE TO Beresford Place

 Diversions for the following services 

Wexford 2/ Wicklow 133, from 0600 until 1100.

To/From Busáras/DAP:

Operate via N11, Mount Merrion Ave, Rock Rd, Strand Rd, Beach Rd, Sean Moore Rd, Eastlink Toll Bridge, North Quays, Matt Talbot Bridge, Georges Quay, Butt Bridge, Busáras, Port Tunnel to Dublin Airport

* Services must drop-off /pick up at the Stillorgan Park Hotel and the Tara Towers Hotel.

11:00-19:00

Routes 2

Route 2 Wexford; From Busaras, operate via Burgh Quay, D’Olier St, Nassau St, Kildare St, (Pick up point) Lesson St.

To Busaras/ DAP:

Return trips will operate via Lesson St, St Stephens Green, Dawson St, Westland Row and return to official route.

Due to flooding Expressway Route 51 not serving Mallow Town Park until further notice. Temporary stop at Annabelle roundabout. All other services operating as normal.

Customer Notice - Routes X4, X8, X12, 20 & 22 from Dublin

We wish to notify customers that Expressway Routes X4, X8, X12, 20 & 22 from Dublin will not operate via Heuston station due to Luas Cross City Works from 20.00 on Friday until 6.00 on Saturday, 12 August 2017.

These services will operate from Dublin, via the Port Tunnel and the M50 instead.

We regret any inconvenience these alterations may cause our customers.

We wish to inform customers  of changes to our X12 Limerick/Dublin/Dublin Airport Timetabl.
e From Sunday 25th June, 2017 the following services will be cancelled:  

Monday – Sunday: Cancellation of 16.30 hrs service ex Dublin Airport
Monday – Saturday: Cancellation of 20.45 hrs service ex Limerick
Friday & Sunday: Cancellation of 18.45 hrs service ex Limerick
Friday: Cancellation of 13.00 hrs service ex Dublin Airport
Saturday and Sunday: Cancellation of 06.00 & 10.00 hrs services ex Dublin Airport
Saturday and Sunday: Cancellation of 05.20 & 11.45 hrs services ex Limerick  

All other services on the schedule remain the same.

Customer Notice – Expressway Route 20 - X20 , Galway – Athlone – Dublin – Dublin Airport

We wish to inform customers that from Sunday 25th of June a revised timetable will be introduced Expressway Route 20 X20.

Services departing Galway city at 10:20 and 21:30 and services departing Dublin city at 10:30 and 21:30 will ceaset to operate.

All other services on the shedule remain the same.

We wish to inform customers that from Sunday 25th of June 2017 , Expressway Route 21 Athlone – Westport will cease to operate.  
Customers wishing to travel between Athlone and Westport can avail of an enhanced Bus Éireann Route 440 from that date.

We wish to inform customers that from Sunday 25th of June 2017 , Expressway Route 21 Athlone – Westport will cease to operate.  

Customers wishing to travel between Athlone and Westport can avail of an enhanced Bus Éireann Route 440 from that date.
