With 16 services per day in each direction, the X2 connects Dublin with Wexford, at the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East.
Departing from Dublin Airport, the Expressway Route X2 travels via the M11 motorway to Wexford and back, passing through Dublin City, Gorey and Enniscorthy en route before arriving at the O'Hanrahan Station in Wexford Town.
The route further services St Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown and St Vincent's University Hospital on Nutley Lane, Dublin 4. It also passes through University College Dublin in Belfield.
Departures from Wexford Town start at 02.00 am through to 20:30pm, connecting Wexford with the airport throughout the day and covering peak airport departure times, while the service back to Wexford operates out of Dublin Airport between the hours of 06:00 am and midnight.

Returning services from Dublin commence at 06:00 am from the Airport and 06:20 am from Busáras. The last service out of Dublin is at midnight from Dublin Airport.
The journey time from Dublin to Wexford is approximately two hours and 20 minutes, making it one of the fastest ways to travel between Dublin and Wexford.
